Industry 4.0 in simple words-

But with the CPS’ ability to work independently has given enough reasons for smart manufacturing factories to offer customized products. It gives flexibility in the working environment with no compromise on the quality part.

Thus, production must be consumer-oriented by connecting efficiently with people and smart devices. This is known as the Internet of Services. This system helps to create products and goods as per the requirements of the customers.

Not only does market research about customers is essential, but about the product, its machinery, operating procedure, failure of the machines etc.  It is the smart factory that must be able to collect real-time data, store it and analyze it for decision making purpose. It helps in optimization of the productivity.
